I’m worried that you may have to sign up for another 18 months contract with Sky.0

cant find anything in T&Cs. Presumably when signing up you have to go to a 'checkout' and put in details/agree to something??0

Normally no such thing as a free lunch, and the lunch in this case seems to be you need to be a Sky VIP customer which you can set up in your My Sky App.https://support.discoveryplus.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360050928192-discovery-account-and-Sky-Q-How-to-sign-up-and-log-in-through-your-set-top-box - "Signing up for discovery+ through Sky Q does not extend or impact your Sky contract, however if you leave Sky, then you will lose access to discovery+ and would have to re-sign up directly for discovery+. At the end of your 12 month offer, you can decide if you want to continue with discovery+ on a paid subscription with Sky. If you don't want to continue your subscription, you will lose access at the end of the 12 months. Don't worry, we won't automatically enrol you onto a paid subscription. "You may want to screenshot that web page and keep that for potential use next year.0
