I need a broker to sell holdings on the Jo'burg markets?

Options
My mother inherited shares in AngloGold Ashanti, Sibanye Gold and Gold Fields. All three are held on the Johannesburg stock market. It appears that Sibanye was moved onto the Computershare register, unfortunately though I cannot seem to sell this holding via Computershare (what's the point in Computershare if they can't sell it).
I just contacted a local high street stock broker in my town, they tell me that they cannot help and they don't know anyone that could. They also indicated that selling them could be very expensive - wonderful !!!

Perhaps the good folks on this forum would be able to offer some advice. We're not desperate to sell, but it would be good to know how to, and at what cost.

Many thanks in advance.

You could always try emailing a broker in Jo'burg and asking them what they would charge?
“Like a bunch of cod fishermen after all the cod’s been overfished, they don’t catch a lot of cod, but they keep on fishing in the same waters. That’s what’s happened to all these value investors. Maybe they should move to where the fish are.”   Charlie Munger, vice chairman, Berkshire Hathaway
  • Thanks folks,
I spoke to a company called Redmayne Bentley, they told me they can normally sell SA holdings but due to Covid they are short staffed. Thankfully i'm not in any hurry, I just want to know what to do when the time comes to sell.
I was quoted 1.65% of the stock value up to £10,000, it drops a fraction if the valuation is higher. There was another fee on top of that of approx' £15-20.
    I'll also try AJ Bell.
