With a Claim Issue Date of 23rd April, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service on 26th April, you have until 4pm on Monday 24th May 2021 to file your Defence.
That's nearly four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Yes, there is no way that the ICO has personally approved a parking firm's SAR ID process unless they've been complained about before!

You do NOT have to fill out a form or provide excessive, intrusive ID.

Our validation processes have been reviewed by the supervisory authority, the ICO, who have confirmed that our requests for validation documentation in these circumstances are compliant.

I doubt the ICO has said that, We cannot have the Information Commissioner saying that it is OK to provide such docs like a drivers licence or passport which can be cloned easily for ID theft ?
Group Nexus are making this up

But, you ask the ICO if they have confirmed this to Nexus and if not, to duly advise them

Nicely done all round!  ANOTHER HIGHVIEW ONE BITES THE DUST!

However, if you don't get confirmation of the claim being discontinued you will have to file a defence in May anyway, just in case.

Nice to read of your success. Great stuff. Thank you for updating the thread. You'd be surprised at the number of those who 'milk' the forum for all its worth, then never have the good manners to inform us of the outcome of our help and advice.

Have a lovely bank holiday weekend. 🥂
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They have wasted  your time, now consider how you can waste theirs, read this,

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Received confirmation letter for DCB Legal that the case is now closed.
I haven't heard back from ICO re GroupNexus's SAR refusal and demands of ID's. So just be aware that if you have a case with GroupNexus they will demand ID's before giving you SAR. Good lucky.
    Thank you again, everyone.

Thanks for sharing! Can I ask, in your complain letters, did you mention Court Claim and Parking notice numbers, etc? How did you get hold of Landowner CEO contact details?
    Thanks,
    CY
