Though not important, why might the IHD not (at any point since installation) show any gas data, but have no problem showing electricity?0
-
I don't associate smart meters and IHD's with gas for some reason.
Would someone be able to post a screenshot of just enough of an Agile invoice to show how it is structured? Not all the individual half hourly pagesTelegraph Sam

sva14 said:I have just switched to gas tracker, and been putting weekly meter reading which generate bills. how is the gas price unit calculated for a period ie mine 7 days, do they just do an average? As i looked 2 bill week apart get different rates 4.24 then 3.95 - my guess they average up the daily rate by days used? No, they just present the data to you that way on the summary. There should be more pages to the bill which will be itemising every individual day.0

I mention because I know you find them important.0

Thanks I will have to study that. Different way of thinking. I would definitely want to maintain the link with the meter readings - if I was to switch - even if this amounted to back of a fag packet manual calculations. Otherwise there is no cross check in the event of things going wrong. I apologize if I am repeating myself.Telegraph Sam

Otherwise there is no cross check in the event of things going wrong. I apologize if I am repeating myself. The invoice shows the total consumption. The index reading history is available in the app. So you would be able to check that the consumption matches the difference between two smart readings. A worked example...You can see in the images above I was billed for 139.0 kWh. I didn't show the second part of this bill where I had moved to Tracker and was billed for another 74.7 kWh between 7th-23rd July. In the app I have smart readings of 5944 for 21 Jun and 6136 for 21 Jul. This means I need to deduct the last three days of Tracker from the comparison, daily breakdowns were 2.80, 6.88 and 12.48 kWh.So 139.0+74.7-2.8-6.88-12.48 = 191.84 kWh from consumptionAnd 6136-5944 = 192 kWh from index readingsNormally this level of fiddling around wouldn't be needed because the smart readings would match the billing period. Changing tariffs mid-way seemed to throw off this one bill.0

Are you with Tracker now? Otherwise you could publish an Agile bill with no fiddling around where it was blindingly obvious that meter reading 1 + consumption = meter reading 2. and everything would be in sync in a happier world.Telegraph Sam
