If you have access to a Booker wholesalers Yorkshire teabags are very cheap in there.
Around £12.50 for 600 if I remember correctly

Got them from Tesco £9.50 for 480.

    UPDATE....
Bought 3 Bags (1440 Teabags in Total), packed them and took them to the DPD Drop off Shop on Friday 23rd April. Tracking said DPD picked them up from Drop Shop on Saturday 24th April.
They were on their way by Monday 26th April and Delivered to Father In Law on Monday 3rd May, so about a week or just over. Now the costs.....
    3 x £9.50 + £28.50 for Teabags
    £16.66 DPD Courier Cost
£10.90 (12.50 Euro) VAT and customs charge when arrived at Euro Hub France.
Total = £56.06 That's still a lot cheaper than we could find anywhere on line and even if supplied by anyone in the EU so was worthwhile doing it.
