Cold Calling Scam

Beware of calls from people purporting to be from Thomas McCain Group Inc.
They are somehow aware of your past investments and claim to be working for some one on a buy out mission of that company.
They are offering between 4 and 8 times the current stock market price of the share as they have to get a holding of 21%.
When advised that the shares were sold and no longer a holding they claim the Voting Rights are still registered in your name.
They send a Confidentiality Agreement to be signed before they can verify your entitlement.
The legal work they are doing on a class action against the company for irregular share administration will need an insurance bond which you will be expected to contribute to.
Thankfully I have seen through this scam and will not be accepting their 'offer'.
Just please be aware as they sound very convincing

They'll be using an old copy of the share register. I presume you held the shares in certificated form or via a personal Crest account.haggaj said:They are somehow aware of your past investments and claim to be working for some one on a buy out mission of that company.0 -
