This is my house running overnight with a fridge, a freezer and the usual suspects on standby (Edit starts at midnight):

That corresponds to only 22W which would be very low for a fridge.  It suggests the fridge motor wasn't running when you looked at the meter, but 22W could be be quite normal for the total of all the standby items.
maybe you should try it with yours a post back resalts :)
Steady state without fridge and freezer was a flash every 96 seconds, corresponding to 37.5W.  Most of that is probably a couple of laptops.
It's quite surprising how many things are on standby, e.g. cordless phone, corded phone, CH programmer / boiler, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, doorbell with illuminated button, photocell for porch light, PIR floodlight, clock radio, 2 DAB radio wall warts, wifi router, and sometimes an AA/AAA/PP9 charger, a 5v mobile phone charger and a printer.  Phew !

Thanks for reminding me how much easier it is to just look at the 'usage now' screen on my IHD... :)
After four pages, no one has been able to tell the OP how to use his IHD to view his instantaneous electricity consumption !
Just goes to show how the £13 billion smart meter project fiasco has failed to achieve its alleged purpose.

... after 4 pages and the OP being told his IHD provides that data in the first reply, the OP hasn't actually asked for help using the IHD...
If the OP wants to tell us which IHD they have, it would be trivial to tell them exactly what to press, but the information is very easy to find on all of them...
... or just watch the appropriate video:

The shiny toy that comes with a smart meter and soon ends up collecting dust at the back of a drawer.

You could buy an IHD/CAD from these guys:

    https://shop.glowmarkt.com/

They come in SMETS1 and SMETS2 versions and when linked to their free Bright App you will get as much data as you need. Hildebrand is a registered DCC User so it can, with your permission, legally link its device to your smart meter.
