beer_time said:Well first off the meter in your photo is nothing like mine what so ever! Not relevant what the meter itself looks like, it's just an example of a red LED and the associated Imp/kWh labelling that you're looking for but still seem not to have found.Your calculation is wrong. You've quoted Watt hours, but that's a unit of energy. You're looking for a power rating, Watts. The answer is 71W IF the LED is labelled 1000 Imp/kWh.1

Hard to make out the details, but if it's a Liberty 100 meter the metrology light (the red LED) is reported as flashing 3200 times per kWh.https://forum.ovoenergy.com/smart-meters-136/what-is-the-led-to-the-right-of-keypad-on-my-smart-meter-1120?postid=5440#post5440That corresponds to only 22W which would be very low for a fridge. It suggests the fridge motor wasn't running when you looked at the meter, but 22W could be be quite normal for the total of all the standby items.0

Thanks for reminding me how much easier it is to just look at the 'usage now' screen on my IHD...

maybe you should try it with yours a post back resaltsThat corresponds to only 22W which would be very low for a fridge. It suggests the fridge motor wasn't running when you looked at the meter, but 22W could be be quite normal for the total of all the standby items.0 -
