No issues I’m aware of but in my previous house I had drain problems due to bad workmanship by previous owner. The waste pipe under the patio split and had to have it properly done at cost of over 1k.
The waste pipe in my present house which I bought 6 weeks ago seems in good condition and have no blockage so far but I don’t want to fork out large sum of money for similar situation.
I would have thought your drains are pretty standard then - they will be covered in the normal way with buildings insurance?
