I’m covered by my building insurance for drainage for accidental damage but not for wear and tear. Is it worth getting separate drainage insurance?

Insurance policies never cover wear and tear. You need a maintenance contract for that. Wear and tear isn't usually a problem in drainsI am not a cat (But my friend is)0

Do you have particular issues that make it sensible to insure your drainage?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.1

The waste pipe in my present house which I bought 6 weeks ago seems in good condition and have no blockage so far but I don’t want to fork out large sum of money for similar situation.0 -

Just put a bit away each month just in case if you're worried.0 -
