Car insurance for 2 cars, 1 driver

If you are only ever going to be driving one car at one time then surly your insurance should be no more the the cost of the insurance for the higher car and not for bough
So if I want insurance on 2 different cars then can anyone suggest an insurance policy for me?

Thanks

Of course it should be more - it's a higher risk...

You're driving one car, while the other's parked on the road outside your house.

    You hit something.
You get home, to find the other car's been hit by somebody who's done a runner.

Your insurer's on the hook for both.

Unless someone steals both cars then they were correct to say your double the risk?

Try some of the multicar insurers.  Aviva and LV have both given me decent deals - a discount to reflect the lower risk.

    Morning

Apologies for some of the aggressive sounding posts here, OP, IMO tits just their style of postingbut it is not their intention to be like that.

Shop around, nominate a main car if possible, declare mileages and be clear where cars parked etc and any approved alarms etc - but shop around over a few days as prices vary at times almost daily and see how you get on.

    Good luck.

Some insurers will allow a driver to use the same NCD on two cars, as long as she is the sole driver for both cars. Direct Line spring to mind as one insurer that will, but I haven't checked. You will still have to pay two lots of insurance, but less than if you only had NCD on the one car.

I know it beond a joke and one could call it trolling in a sence
I once started a thread hear about quotes for electric/ gas, and how the companies would not execpt my call if the number was withheld and the replies where it is perfectably exceptable for the companies to hold your number and sell it to 3rd part fradsters

But the motor car hear are worth less then a grand!

    What is LV?

Liverpool Victoria.  But these days they advertise themselves as LV.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
