No worries. So easy. Read any Highview threads, we've been laughing at how easy they are, for many years.
You could not ask for a simpler one as long as you don't tick the stupid box on the appeals page that says ''I was the driver and...''.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi,
We are having the same problem. Same letter was sent - ASDA staff told us that we didn't have to pay.
I am now going to appeal. Can you please tell me what you said in your appeal?
Thank you0 -

Have you read all the posts on this thread?
If you do that you will see exactly what @cxxr sent and to who.
Their post on 16 April at 3:20PM shows exactly what they sent.1 -
No need for threads about Highview and Smart parking, except to report the obvious successes.
Just follow the NEWBIES thread, there is nothing else needed as these firms who don't bother to use the POFA wording, are so easy to beat.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Apologies for the necro-post, but just came on here to confirm I used the same method to get my Highview-ASDA Edmonton PCN cancelled. Response was received 11 days after appeal.2

Hi there, I've just received a parking charge letter from Highview Parking, my situation is slightly different.
I go nearly every week to ASDA on a Saturday morning due to my kids having swimming lessons at the leisure centre which is nearby, so I park at the Edmonton green car park, then take advantage of the deal that ASDA customers who shop for more than £10s can park for free for 2 hours. You enter your car registration details on their ipad/tablet which validates the car for the deal. We have been doing this for many years, so very shocked to receive the letter. I know we never forget to do the validation as the kids fight over who gets to type in the info.
As it sounds like the parking company could be rather roofless, is it worth me appealing with the above explanation, with a copy of my credit card statement (with important info redacted) showing as proof that I had shopped at ASDA and it was over £10. I don't have the receipt anymore as it was a few weeks ago.
Or should I just use the suggested letter template?
Many thanks for any help.0 -

Trying to deal with the different issues of two or more people in the same thread can only lead to confusion.
Confusion is even more likely when you say "my situation is slightly different".
However, I do like this phrase...suk_to said:As it sounds like the parking company could be rather roofless...

If following the advice on this thread does not work, then start your own thread/discussion as it can be quite confusing trying to help more than one poster on one thread.
BTW did you mean: -As it sounds like the parking company could be rather roofless,as in they live in an open top bus or perhaps ruthless?1
