You're in no man's land at the moment.
If you were still in the DMP there may have been lenders.
If you were 12+ months clear of the DMP there should be options.
The fact is you've very recently finished the DMP, lending criteria keeps tightening up / relaxing, lenders are unsure and won't risk it.

I would say take onboard what people say, but we both know you do your own thing.

I've got a 23 year mortgage, but with overpayments will have it cleared 10 years from when it started.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

I've never been in doucbt about almost impossible post dmp mortgage availability (non broker/higher costs etc)
It's good habito have accepted my experian report before declining any potential application.

i plan to raise natwide overpayments, job done, for the next year or two anyway.

    thanks

Do keep the thread updated on how Habito get on. I wasn’t aware that they provide this free credit report analysis service. Is it a specific link on their website?

People forget about credit commitments, don't realise there's late / missed payments or even CCJs from a parking company when asked. Which is why a good broker always asks for the credit reports before assessing whether a mortgage may be possible, my broker did.

slight misunderstanding , Habito interest ended after they requested my recent credit report, which i passed to them vie e-mail as I subscribe to Experian.

Habito were honest enough to advise me to stay with Nationwide as other mortgage providers would decline any new application post dmp.
Maybe they noticed one or two collection agency's and my lendable loan, all of which are cleared very recently.

    thanks anyway.

I might be missing something but Nationwide are OK as a lender generally no need to change.

Are you excluded from just taking a retention deals for some reason?

What did NW have on the table.

Changing because you fancy a change is something you do with underwear.

    Nationwide usually are very competitive.
