    Don’t answer the door, and if he’s bothering you via text/email/social media then reply one last time saying something like “We have nothing to do with the house any more. Any issues should be addressed to the warranty company as we have no involvement.”

    He’s treating you like a new build developer (company) rather than an individual seller.

    Not much help but this is the reason i will not build next to where i live.

    You need to distance yourself . its bad enough they are just next door.  As others have said Tell them  to use a solicitor or go through warranty providers. 

    hope it does not escalate
