Our kitten was microchipped at the end of October and had a scab beween his shoulder blades which basically lifted all the fur in that area out and was attached by a stalk to his skin!. Glad I'm not going crackers- it couldn't have come from anything else!
Like I said its not that noticeable- mainly when he's eating
