Country houses, and race meetings, regattas, Wimbledon... Basically in June, July and August the social calendar was far too crowded to bother with trading stocks.ratechaser said:

I thought it looked pretty obvious around the Biden inauguration, and actually sold out of VLS100 at what I perceived to be a highwater mark. I'm still waiting to get back in, having learned my lesson.1
