I've got a Ford Money Fixed Rate ISA which will shortly be maturing? I'd like to split it into 3 separate ISAs, does anybody know if they permit partial ISA transfers out? It doesn't seem to be mentioned in the T&Cs.

Thanks

Stompa

I wondered if this could be done by letting the fixed rate ISA roll over into the flexible ISA and then arranging transfers from there. But I agree - it is not clear.

Please post the answer if you can find one.

I gave them a call, and they confirmed that they do allow partial transfers out. I'll be using the method you suggest, as I'm now a bit too close to the maturity date to risk transferring from the fixed rate ISA itself on maturity (as it potentially may have rolled over and have a different account number by the time they receive the transfer request(s)). I'd also want the last transfer to be for the remaining balance, so would need to delay that until any prior transfers (for fixed amounts) had completed.

Make sure you actively notify them to move it on maturity into the flexible ISA, otherwise it will automatically roll over into another fixed rate account.
By default, it gets reinvested into another fixed rate account if you do not ask them to do otherwise.

    Thanks, I realise that!

I have a Ford Fixed Rate ISA maturing  next week and had given maturity instructions ( a couple of weeks back) to transfer to  their easy access ISA.

However, my Yorkshire BS Loyalty ISA application pack and ISA transfer form arrived last Friday and were posted to YBS on Saturday.

I have now heard from both Ford (acknowledging that they have received the transfer request from YBS which will be actioned on maturity) and from YBS  with details of new Loyalty ISA account number.
