I don't have any magic money advice, I find it all very difficult but I must admit I'm better managing on little money than managing on lots! And I'm very much on top of it at the moment as I have a definite goal, I do very little on line shopping as its too easy to spend more than I want and mostly deal in cash, that is in jars!!! Very much back to old fashioned ways here, but it's working for me at the present time.

On the 'present' situation, all dds have the same momentary amount allocated as do the dgc, can't favour one above the other and its hard as I like 'giving' but I have stuck to it now for a couple of years.

    Hello!

I haven’t read all your diary but just wanted to say as I happened to see the post about gifts. We had to take a long hard look at gift spending this year and seriously cut down on the budget for all birthdays and Christmas. As someone who likes gifting to people I find it hard but it put us in a sticky position in Jan / Feb this time and I can’t let that happen again.
    Hi debtfreeoneday 👋 It’s so hard isn’t it 😢

Thanks nanny. If I had access to more shops I would do the same.

Good morning and happy back to work Tuesday ☕️😞☕️😞☕️😞☕️
    How are you all today?
After my terrible, terrible dabble with percentages I am hoping not to spend until pay day, where I will then become a new woman….or at the very least a worn down middle aged version of my best self 🤣
MrWW is on days today, so I have a beautiful quiet space and I also hope to mend the leak under the bath somehow at lunchtime while I’m unsupervised! I have been mentioning it needs fixing for a good 10 months, but know if I start when he’s here I will be doing it all wrong….so I plan a quiet bodge job, so I can have a lovely soak when he’s on nights and not have to mop the bath water from the floor when it pours out of the drainage pipe 😁
I hope you all have lovely days planned and wish you the easiest of work and the best of good luck 🪄

I think when they fitted it it may have been a problem as it’s covered with sealant. I may need to pick it off and reseal I think 🤔
In other news I have ordered another free kindle book…if anyone likes YA/magic type books it is The Trials of Magic (the hundred halls book 1) by Thomas K Carpenter. It has some good reviews, so might be worth a punt for nothing 😁 Often the first in a series is free to encourage you to buy the rest, but that’s ok if it’s good and you’ve lost nothing if it’s bad.

Sounds like it was botched to begin with! Hope you get it sorted.
