Hello 👋 Everyone's been very busy. We didn't do much yesterday. Bathed dog. Did the Lidl shop and a couple of bits from other shops. Came home and shared a quick tiger crust pizza 🍕😊 for lunch then took dog to see the ducks and squirrel at the park. Ooh my legs did ache when we got back as we did some hilly bits. Dog said nope to that and did the hilly bits being carried in her bag 🤣 the rest of the day was spent slobbing with an early bedtime to get prepared for silly clocks changing just as I was getting used to them.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

What lovely social days we all had, so different from the last two springs. I met a friend for a drink on the beach, it was so nice! I chickened out on the date, classic me 🙄
8yo and Ex coming by for MD stuff today and being cooked for by friends tonight. Did spend some essential money yesterday on food and some non-essential money on the garden yesterday. Need to get it all planted/set up now.4 -
Good morning and happy Sunday 📚🍫☕️@Baileys_Babe reading time in the garden is never wasted 📚
@moving_forward that sound a lovely day. My hound needs a shower, but it involved me getting wet through, a tsunami in the bathroom as she runs up and down while I dry her (she likes to go between my legs like it’s some kind of car wash feature) and then a total bathroom mop and dry….it’s such hard work. I also wish I could carry her now she’s old.
@elbree chickening out is fine. Only do that when you are ready. I think society puts pressure on us to ‘find someone’ and that’s not always the right thing. And of course everything is wonderful at first until you suddenly find out all the annoying bits 😬 For instance I have a grown adult, who fed himself perfectly for many years, but now can’t even make a sandwich without a cold sweat and a bit of a sulk 🤣 what did you get for the garden?Today will, I think, be a dog drive and some decluttering.

Morning WinterWarrior and friends
I am very grateful my neighbour mows the lawn
Agree that society puts pressure on women to find someone; I've been on my own for 5 years now and still get asked if i've met anyone "yet"; I have a few single female friends and we are all quite happy on our own
I had to make my own breakfast in bed today as DDs are AWOL. I will be quite happy pottering at home until DD1 arrives late afternoon. We are having belated celebrations for DD2's birthday and mother's day in a week or so
Have a good day everyone

I’m so late today!Work as normal, but also had to pick MrWW up from taking his car to the garage and then back again when it was ready. It’s all go here 🤣
pay day is on Thursday and I seem to be ending the month not too awfully. Finally something might be sticking?
So for my March run down -
the good - ending £605 up overall month on month. This is after the £320 tyre shocker, £55 mortgage overpayment, various presents, a jumper and some frittering. I thought it would be much worse than that.
the bad - as above, unplanned car issue, a bit of frittering.
the ugly - nowhere near the savings target I had set for myself originally…I just seem to be treading water from the start up to now. Up a bit, down a bit, some tears, up a bit again 😖
anyhow, still pleased overall this month. I just need to hold fast until Thursday.
I have an awful lot of birthdays in April and Easter too, but will try and restrain myself. And of course I could win the pb’s 😬
I hope you are all having a marvellous Monday 📚🍫☕️⭐️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Yes, good work! Especially considering the tyre disaster. I daren't look at mine. I won't add up until last day of the month and hoping my moneybox suddenly adds loads of interest to make me look good 😂3
