I didn't visit DD1 yesterday as i felt too poorly to drive. She did pop into see me earlier. I have done lots of work all weekend and watched some good drama on TV and read my book.

Good morning and happy Monday 😧 (sobs quietly).
everything has gone out of the bank now, the final expected payments went today. I have £4 something to last me nearly 2 weeks to payday 😧 I’m not sure that’s doable! I owe nothing (apart from mortgage obvs.) and don’t need anything, but paying all the money out for tyres, plus some stupid frittering means I haven’t saved half as much as expect and my pots are looking very sad from shuffling. If I don’t spend anything I will end the month £200 up, but that’s so annoying when it should have been over £500. The best laid plans and all that. I keep thinking in x amount of months I’ll have increased my savings….and it never happens. I need more discipline in my life.Ah well, in other news, I did manage to sort out that cupboard. I removed loads of stuff and it’s still full…it’s like a magic cupboard! I seem short of decent fitted sheets, but shamefully I had a super king sized quilt cover in there that I’ve never even used and totally forgotten about! It was one of a two pack and still wrapped around its cardboard 🤦🏻♀️I hope you all have a happy Monday filled with wonderful things ☕️☕️☕️📚📚🍫🍫Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
