When I buy PBs I try to buy them around the 27th or 28th of the month so they go into the draw a bit quicker. Having said that since I've retired I've not managed to buy many but thinking maybe I ought to try buying one every month or two to try and increase my holding.

@joedenise sadly I have to wait until pay day, which is the last working day, so often it’s 2 months to get in the draw….not that I win anyway, but it would be nice 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Being me (as in a bit anal) I have been tracking which numbers have actually won. I have quite a lot of them & win most months, so normally about level with the odds. I have found that my bulk buys win. My winning ones (£25 worth blocks) never have & I've had some since 2016. I'm contemplating the risk of selling the won ones & bulk buying them back against the risk of them not winning in the month they are out of the draw.

If I remember correctly you need £34k to get a win using the odds.

Well to quote a rather famous star (in character obviously) - do you feel lucky? I am not but I am also not unlucky. When the proverbial has hit the fan in my life it has never been as bad as it could have been. But I would really like to win the million, who wouldn't. My archetectural dreams will however live on until then.

I don’t consider myself to be unlucky, but the odds are definitely not in my favour 😖
I would love to win the million 😁 Just imagine….Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
