    Okay, so after considering all the options I have decided to try and improve the wall visually by filling in the mortar into empty gaps or broken areas and maybe to use toupret masonry filler on the bad bricks

    Does this sound like a realistic option?

    Some closer up pics to show state of brickwork.

    Sorry, further to the above post would it be okay to just use the toupret masonry filler instead?
