I've had a similar issue with Sainsbury's. I duly followed their process, took it back, filled out their forms, got an incident number and was told I would get an update... nothing - many months later I was told that the item never left the store. It was a large piece of metal wire in one of their fresh soups. I complained and got sent a £20 Sainsbury's voucher and told that they had logged it. Whoop de doo - I didn't want the money - like this person - I wanted them to actually DO something about it. For us - luckily my young daughter spotted it before swallowing it - it could have done a lot of damage if she had swallowed it and what if there was more out there. Far too late now!0
