Flight Changes

Hi, I booked a holiday in 2019 for August 2020, this was changed to August 2021 due to COVID. On my original booking, I paid £300 extra for early morning flights. TUI have now changed the flight to late afternoon, can I get a refund on the additional amount I paid? Anyone any experience with this situation? TIA 😊

TUI in common with nearly every other tour operator uses a change period of 12 hours as the basis to justify compensation or the right to cancel. I assume that this change does not fall into that time frame but there is certainly no harm in asking.
