Using mobile phones as walkie talkies

Does anyone know if any of the uk mobile networks have this and if it works? It is sometimes called push to talk or talk now (looks like you can as a business customer or could get on orange). Alot of new mobile have this function but looks like the network are stopping it being used.

Not really the same thing but u can use Skype on 3 - requires a £10 per month top up though and u get 4000 skype mins (fair usage).

it is massive in the states but not used over here, again just one of the features our networks do not support
