Thank to those few who offered sensible and compassionate advice.
In future I expect that you’ll pay more attention, no-one wants this to happen again.0 -

Occurrences like this happen, children don't have the same perception as adults.
Yes, I get a bit peeved when the C word appears but the op has come back and said what she has done and hasn't mentioned it again.2 -
Ands44 said:My daughter is a keen gymnast and whilst clubs and trampoline parks are closed has been using all of the methods of exercise and play to stay active.I'm a bit surprised you didn't mention she was a keen gymnast in your first post, where all you said wasAnds44 said:...No broken bones but muscle sprain and RICE for next two weeks. No running, scooting, cycling, jumping for next two weeks so rubbish Easter holiday, ... she's in pain and her Easter holidays are spoilt.
ThanksIncidentally, I'm amazed the hospital would advise such caution for a seven year old over a "muscle sprain". That should heal at that age in a matter of days and not take two weeks(How do you get a muscle sprain from something falling on you? Bruising I could understand, but a sprain?)

Some silly replies here to a silly question.
But!
You were there SO? the "injury" to your daughter was caused either by Morrisons? An other customer? Or yourself?
So you decide, and if Morrisons are deemed at fault with the way they stacked the crate, on the bottom shelf.
So when you reached for the strawberries, it fell on your 7 Yr old daughter.
Then go for some recommence that would benefit your daughter?
And it is good that your are following the advice obtained direct from the NHS site. Sprains and strains - NHS (www.nhs.uk)

I do think some of these replies are unfair. As a mum myself, I know how emotional you get when something happens to your child and it can cloud your judgement at times. However, sometimes there is nobody to blame. It’s an accident and your child will be OK. Don’t waste all your energy chasing a £20 voucher or whatever as that’s all you’re going to get if you push it hard enough. They’ll never admit liability and I can’t see what you need to be compensated for. Enjoy the Easter holidays with your little one - there’s plenty you can do that doesn’t involve jumping around.2

The lady from the cigarette kiosk by the entrance came rushing over, took him over to the magazines and told him to choose one along with a bag of sweets. Son soon cheered up and the lady then wrote it all down in the accident book whilst he ate his sweets. Meanwhile staff had brought mats over to the entrance to ensure the same couldn't happen again.
This was over 20 years ago and I still remember it because she dealt with it absolutely correctly. Son was happy and there was no lasting damage.
