More people submitting returns early and only a limited number of people to check them.

I called this morning and was told it’s taking longer than usual this year - submitted on 7th requested 8th

taking longer my a$$.... they never missed a beat when they deduct our 20% CIS money but when we need the tax return money we can wait. Every year was fine but this year like nothing before...

At least there’s a few people in the same situation as me.. just left on pending with no update or anything.. it’s normally pretty smooth running!

I’m in the same boat as a lot of you. Submitted on the 6th, still pending. 7th year, usually takes 2 weeks max. I know a few people who had there’s within a week

I heard if u have claimed  the employment  grant  ur getting extra checks

not true, my friend submited the tax on 7 requested payment on 8 , payment processed  on 16 and landed on bank account on 19. He got 3 grants. 

I guess is random , some people submited on 6 and still didnt get paid , nobody knows how it works in the back-end of the platform.

I just hope they will send the money by the end of next week at worst.
