I haven't read the article (I ain't ever clicking on a Daily Mail story) but in case it doesn't mention it, there are different types of Bamboo and not all of them are the running variety that have the capability to spread rapidly. There are clumping types that stay in one place and just slowly grow outwards up to a maximum size.3

I'm amazed that the Daily Fail hasn't yet published a story linking asylum seekers with damage to house prices - that would cover both of their readerships biggest fears.4

Man who runs business tackling invasive bamboo wants legal compulsion to tackle invasive bamboo. It's not quite up there with big business, the unions and the commercial charity sector in terms of the priority list for government lobbying, but maybe one day he'll get lucky.3

Well, why not take a saw to them and have some free bean poles?I realise why you might have reservations about seeing a Daily Heil story, but in fact it's unique among the papers today in giving Boris's revelations about our coming 'freedoms' a solid raspberry....and at least you can grow those with impunity!
