Fine for stopping - Bristol Airport

Really interesting thank you D_P_Dance and I will reference that for sure in my defence1

The extra £60 is a side issue to get the fake amount knocked off if you lose. It is already included in the template defence, but don't let it detract from the main points of the defence.
Do you have the scammer's pics of where the vehicle was stopped? It would be really interesting to see if the stop sign is visible. I can only imagine what a judge would say when the claimant says, the defendant had the audacity to stop at a Stop sign.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I’ve emailed Dave Lees - Bristol Airport’s Chief Exec and copied in my local MP. Not holding out much hope but a worthy step I feel even if only to raise awareness. Should I contact ELMS Legal do you think to advise them I won’t be paying and intend to defend the charge?Below is the photo of me stopped at the stop sign. You may not be able to see the times but it was 11 seconds I stopped for. I’m worried I made a mistake in my initial appeal by saying that I picked up the money from the floor and that they could use this against me?
Anyway too late now I’ll focus on getting my defence as good as it can be.

Hahahaha, done for 'no stopping' at a junction where the lines and signs instruct you to STOP!
Come on, the Airport MUST cancel this one. Send that photo to the national press if not.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What was the precise reason (the exact wording used) for issuing the scamvoice?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

This was their response to my appeal.
I should never have said I picked something up! Schoolgirl error.0 -
I can’t find the original notice and it doesn’t recognise the ref number on their website any more for some reason, so cant tell you the exact wording - sorry.1

They are telling porky pies.
On the one hand they say you stopped in a no stopping zone and say there are signs to this effect, yet they have provided clear photo evidence that the car was stopped on top of a Stop sign and double white lines painted across the lane, adjacent to a Stop sign, with no other signs that prohibit stopping in sight.
The signage required you to stop at that junction. What you may or may not have done whilst already stopped at the stop sign is irrelevant. Stop means Stop the vehicle, which is precisely what you did. Taking the opportunity to remove a purse and coins that could jam the pedals whilst already stopped at a stop sign is perfectly reasonable, and I believe the man on the Clapham omnibus would agree.
According to the map of the scamzone from ginger_bread_man's thread, there are supposedly no stopping signs to the left and directly in front of where the car was stopped, but they are not evident in the images provided by the scammers.
I think this is one for local and national press, as well as your MP and the MP where the airport is located, even if the airport decide cancel it.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
