Inconsistent reverse sensor beeping.

  • Possible cause on this ... maybe it's not water damage. Maybe it's just a loose connection.

At the weekend I was parked up and had the car in reverse - no beeping.

I got out, car still in reverse, and i was going to unplug the power cable and put it back in but as it's a tight fit I ended up giving it a bit of a wobble - and got deafened by the beeper right next to my ear.

So as that black box is just left sat there, not actually mounted to anything, I'm wondering if stuff in the boot hits it say when going round corners or whatever and knackers the connection because it's working again now that i've fiddled with it.
