Is it emergency treatment if they are returning with a medical condition that is already being treated, albeit in a different country?

which to me sounds like some sort of accident rather than a medical condition e.g. heart condition.

But I'd guess that most 'lay' people would attribute "severe injuries" to an accident..

I'd bet that the OP's brother has had an accident - maybe car, bike - rather than is suffering from (for example) a heart condition.

That's how I'd describe 'injuries'.

But it seems a moot point as the OP seems unlikely to return to answer questions or update.
