Virgin Mobile Annual RPI price increase

I am aware that written into Virgin Mobile's contracts is a clause stating the price will go up each July, but is there a cut off point for when you take out a new contract that the price increase will not apply until the following year? Eg: if I took a new contract out in Dec 2020, the price would increase in July 2021. But if I take a new contract out today 2-4-2021 for say £10 per month sim only, would the price increase in July 2021 or in July 2022? Thanks in advance.

All depends upon VM contract , but expect increase every July starting 2021.

Thanks for your reply. So if I took out a new contract say 25th June 2021, would it still go up in July 2021? Or would that price for that not rise until July 2022? I am wondering if anyone has experience of when the cut off date is?JJ_Egan said:All depends upon VM contract , but expect increase every July starting 2021.0
