No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries April

Several OUTs. A friend bought me a selection of sheet masks for my birthday but I really don't like them. Don't like the feel of them on face nor the feel of the excess moisture afterwards. Given to Emma on the proviso that she replaced them with a clay mask for me. So also IN Green clay mask from Etsy. Tried it last night and it certainly is a case of less is more and my skin felt lovely afterwards.I'm having a littel crisis of conscience. I've been trying to switch to cruelty free but there are two products that I really love and I can't find either a cf or cheaper alternative: Benefit Bad Gal Bang mascara and MAC paint pot. I've tried a few mascaras recently. It's not the formula that is the problem but the wands. They are either too big, too bristly or both. Think I may have to continue using these two products until I find a better alternative.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi everyone, in a moment of flurry, I decided to clear out my cupboard a bit gave away 6 products on Olio.
I was trying to UU them but it was just not working and some of them are old so decided to part ways.
I have also UU'ed Clinique Fresh Pressed Vitamin-C 7 Day System. This is a favorite but it is expensive so I use it every now and then or if I find a bargain on eBay etc. Best Vit-C I used.
I also UU'ed a foot mask, a bath bom and some bath salts that I bought of Etsy.

Hi
A quick update whilst I remember
UU
Oatmeal and Milk Soap x 2
Burt Bee Chamomile and Bark Deep Facial Cleanser
Avon Suncare Sensitive Face and Body Cream SPF50
Total 1206 -
One UU from today:
Superdrug The Moisturising Little Blue Stick 4.8g - WDBA and have done. This is my HG lip balm, it's so cheap but so good
And a few INs:
Superdrug The Moisturising Little Blue Stick 4.8g
Superdrug The Moisturising Little Blue Stick 4.8g
Superdrug The Moisturising Little Blue Stick 4.8g
Superdrug Vitamin E Lip Balm 4.8g
Oral B Satin Tape 25m
I popped into Superdrug to get some more of my favourite lip balm, and I panicked in case it gets harder to get. Hopefully not but I never know with Superdrug's own brand products.5 -
One UU this morning:
Schwarzkopf Live Silver Shampoo 200ml - WPBA and mostly likely will, unless I find a different silver shampoo. This one is great and when I get it from Savers, much cheaper than Superdrug/Boots.

I have cut open Lacura Vitamin C Facial Cleanser. It is an ok cleanser but I don't like Aldi dupping other brands really so not sure if I would buy it again. Also UU'ed Japanfusion (Beauty Pie) Day Cream. Great product and would buy it again once I order from BP.
I have selected 5 products from my cupboard to finish by end of this month as I have a lot of more than half-used products taking up space.
Finish by EOM:
- Japanfusion Hydra Prep Lotion
- B. Hydrated Hyaluronic Acid Facial Spritz
- Clarins SOS Hydra Refreshing Face Mask
- Clinique Supercharged Serum
- Estee Lauder Take it Away Makeup Remover Lotionally.4 -
Hi everyone
Another UU to declare
Elemis pro collagen marine cream 2ml x2 - WNBA as do not like the smell and do not see much of a difference with it.
Tomorrow is the 23rd anniversary of my mum’s passing (She was 46). I will most probably take a bit of time away from the ipad so best of luck to all in your quest for UU’d products.

I have ordered a set of Repluca perfume samples from Cult Beauty. I've wanted to try these for a while. They are back in stock and I had 15% off. Seemed rude not to.
I'm off work tomorrow. Going having my brows done. I will buy a Benefit Bad Gal mascara and may get tge BM Blonzer and a MAC paint pot.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I feel the same about Aldi and Lidl. Companies spend years and a lot of money marketing their products and then they get ripped off completely, I have no real brand loyalty but I still think it is wrong, plus if it is just the packagaing that looks the same and the product is naff what is the point? DD bought an Aldi clay mask that was a rip off of some other brand and it did nothing for her skin.

A few years ago I had a mini Eyeko Skinny Brush mascara from an advent calendar or beauty box and I really loved it and bought a full size of it last year I think, anyway I've been using it and yesterday I decided to give up with it, it is soooo wet and the hole in the squeezy tube is quite wide and leaves a ton of product on the brush which no matter how careful I was it just got everywhere and just made my lashes clump together. I did open a Collection lengthening mascara to use with it to try and brush through afterwards but that one seemed to have no product in at all. The relevant bits of both are sat in my bag of makeup empties awaiting recycling.
