My transfer has gone through. Not had final bill from GNE yet and they still haven't transferred my credit balance to EDF. Has anyone received the final bill yet?

I'm still waiting for my final bill and transfer of any credit which will go to EDF and have to chase it up from them.

My account has finally been set up, the direct debit is in place, but that's it so far. My credit balance hasn't appeared, nor my welcome pack and the tariff I am on is approximately twice as expensive per unit as the GNE one. They are an absolute nightmare; the minute I can move elsewhere, I will.

Very similar to @AKarpik -  DD was set up this week the same as the GNE one with the first payment due 1 June . No final GNE bill or welcome pack.

@Akarpik can you give us the GNE and Edf tariffs please - the doubling sounds dramatic.

Tariff is the Welcome 5 which nearly matches the GNE - it's a lowest unit, higher s/c and I estimate this will cost about £9.  Overall quite good as I would have been paying more when the GNE fix would have run out last month.
Never pay on an estimated bill

My EDF account is finally setup, however their meter reading is from 27th April, They tell me expect final bill from GNE administraters from Feb 2021 to 27th April.

This was the longest switch ever, i have gone through many and has put me off completely from doing again.

@Robin9 Ha, you just prompted me to check EDF again. After complaining yesterday about the tariff - and being told they would apply a refund when I got a bill - day units have changed from 27.7p to 13.85 and night units from 19.36 to 9.68. GNE was 14.574/10.133. Phew! This isn't good for my blood pressure...

After waiting almost 6 months to hear from EDF, its claim that former GNE customers won't pay any more than they did with GNE is revealed to be a big fat lie.  I was paying 2.93p kwh for gas and a standing charge of 17.81p per day with GNE.  I have been told for the first time this morning that EDF propose to charge me 3.17p kwh and 30.61p per day.  Outrageous.

The headline of this thread "it may take until May" brings a wry smile given we are now middle of June and I am still not transferred.
Where did all the credit balances go?

Complain to them, they'll soon change it.

That's only half the story. What is your epectricity tariff? Or are you on separate suppliers?
