I've not heard of any issues with B&O amps, but googling suggests there are some - but on older models (pre 2015). Having had/have 2 A3's both with the B&O stuff (ex-demos, one 2015, one 2019), I've never had an issue myself, albeit that means little.

I'm sorry OP but buying a 12 year old car without a test drive is a big no no1

Are you going to get it transported back to the dealer on a trailer? What if the dealer "suggests" you get a local garage to look at any faults and offers to contribute towards the cost of putting them right? Then deny they ever said that and wash their hands of the faults because you got a third party to work on it? It's a potential nightmare. Far safer, and more sensible, to buy locally or within a maximum radius of 10 - 15 miles. Or from the dealer closest to you.Even more so if you are not allowed a test drive!(Is it true that Covid Regulations prevented test drives on vehicle sales? I find that a bit difficult to believe. If it was true then it's even less wise to go on round trip of almost 400 miles to make a relatively costly - and risky - purchase of a second -hand car relying only on an advert. It's begging for trouble).0

It's worth a note here that the CRA appears to state that when exercising the 30 days short term right to reject "The trader must not impose any fee on the consumer in respect of the refund"
But if not exercising the short term right to reject but instead the final right to reject it states:(10)No deduction may be made if the final right to reject is exercised in the first 6 months (see subsection (11)), unless—
(a)the goods consist of a motor vehicle, or
and clarifies a motor vehicle as:
(12)In subsection (10)(a) “motor vehicle”—
(a)in relation to Great Britain, has the same meaning as in the Road Traffic Act 1988 (see sections 185 to 194 of that Act);
(b)in relation to Northern Ireland, has the same meaning as in the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 (SI 1995/2994 (NI 18)) (see Parts I and V of that Order).
(13)But a vehicle is not a motor vehicle for the purposes of subsection (10)(a) if it is constructed or adapted—
(a)for the use of a person suffering from some physical defect or disability, and
(b)so that it may only be used by one such person at any one time.
The OP may be exercising their short term right to reject if they can show the goods did not conform to the contract.

Thanks everyone. My lesson has been learnt I won’t ever go so far for a car. It’s actually put me off buying a car ever again to be honest. Obviously with bank holiday it’s delayed things this week. But I have not heard anything from them since 29th March. Very frustrating.I’m not car savvy I went on guidance from some friends on what to buy. But not there fault. The fact it cut out and went in to limp mode because dangerous to drive it shows on the diagnostic.It was trailered back to garage as I refused to drive it.Feel like a complete idiot just want my money back.0
