Because I said to them that I needed the car to be as stated in the advert and that I was driving a long way so needed it 100% as advertisedcouriervanman said:You drove 188 miles to buy a used car you couldn't test drive......WHY0 -
Because of covid you are not allowed to test drive a car. Unfortunately my car was stolen back in November. And I wanted a particular model. So hence driving so far .And I had done a lot of looking !0

Not sure why it would add any clarity. The thread seems to be about a rejection more than 30 days but within 6 months, after the 3rd repair (so final right to reject). The second link confirms what's been said, since it says under the short term right to reject that you can reject for a full refund.pbartlett said:Not sure if this adds any clarity or not

Compare this section with this section. See how the right to make a reduction only applies to the latter (the final right) and not the former (the short term right to reject)? Therefore, trader has no right to make a deduction from any refund. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride1 -
In my first post I said that they while reason way they were entitled to make the deduction within the 14 days because that was what was stated in 1.7 of the sales contract.
@david713 replied saying this was wrong and clause 1.7 was an illegal term and thus unenforceable in law.
That being so, I would recommend the OP contact the law firm writing on behalf of the garage, correcting their knowledge of the law and asking for the mileage charges to be refunded.0 -

You may want to redact your license plate, but for what its worth, I dont think any 2 year old car (19 plate?) should have such a list of issues.
I've not heard of any issues with B&O amps, but googling suggests there are some - but on older models (pre 2015). Having had/have 2 A3's both with the B&O stuff (ex-demos, one 2015, one 2019), I've never had an issue myself, albeit that means little.Peter
