Vanguard LS80 and SMP500

Hello.
I'm hoping that someone could please give me some advice.
About 6 months ago I set up a Vanguard account. I invested 5k into an S&P 500 ISA 5k into a life strategy 80. I thought that they would both be ISAs. I've since learnt that only the S&P is an ISA.
They have both pretty much earned the same amount of interest.
Could someone please tell me, if my LS80 is not an ISA account what type of account is it?

(I'm fully aware that this probably sounds like a ridiculous question!)

Thank you.

If you didn't like the asset allocation of VLS80 (a fund designed to be a sole fund to hold) then why did you pick it and not one of the alternatives that have a higher weighting to US equities?

I thought that they would both be ISAs.

They would be if you bought them both within the ISA.   If you bought one in the ISA and the other in a General Investment Account (GIA) then they would not be in the same account.

They have both pretty much earned the same amount of interest.

Neither of those funds is interest paying.

You will need to tell us.   VLS80 can be held unwrapped (in a GIA), in an ISA, LISA,  SIPP, PPP, onshore bond and offshore bond.  So, it can be held in most tax wrappers.

Probably most likely in your case is either the pension or unwrapped in the GIA if its not in the ISA

It might be best to phone Vanguard as they will be able to see your account(s) and explain how you have arranged your investments.
