Not sure .. rocker type long start button, bottom right

For several months the switch has been 'iffy' just was a matter of pushing it a few times, in different places. As it worked eventually I never brought it in, coupled with the 'lockdowns etc'
Yesterday it stopped altogether .. everything else is fine .. set anything, then push the 'start' but nothing
We bought a 2-year guarantee at the time of purchase, but thought it was on top of the standard 1 year, but it runs together, so more of a 1-year warranty. Looking online, the same model has a 3 year Samsung warranty but you need to register the item within 90 days of purchase.
Will just buy a new one, but may write to JL to see what they say .. this 'reasonable time' is a puzzle.

Most microwaves manage at least 3 to 5 years. I'd expect a £200 one to last nearer 5 years.
As it is over 6 months old, you'll need to get an independent report to say it was inherently faulty (e.g. you didn't break the button), then JL would have to repair/replace/refund as well as pay for the report.
On Samsung's webpage, someone also wrote a review saying the button failed just after 2 years.

Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)1
