It's a mystery (at least to me) why you have a three phase supply and such massive consumption, but there's absolutely no doubt you're on an absurdly expensive tariff !0

It's certainly worth doing a full detective job on every cable from that setup to ensure there's nothing feeding an adjacent property/outhouse.
I'm intrigued as to what the Heatmiser- like thermostat is doing up on the right hand side? My boiler cupboard has one of those, but it's averaging two remote sensors to control the radiator circuit, not measuring the temperature of the boiler cupboard!0 -

Morning ChuggerChugger,
Thanks all so much for the help and advice that has been posted on the thread.
From the looks of your pictures, you have a 6 dial, 3 phase Economy 7 meter, with reads of 093523 and 204441.
3 Phase meters are normally installed where there is a high amount of usage and heavy loads.
It's quite rare for meters to be faulty in all honesty. I agree with what others have said about turning everything off and doing a bit of detective work. I would also check if there is an immersion switch that has been left constantly on. We do charge in advance of a visit but this fee will be refunded in full if the meter turns out to be faulty. Before arranging a test, we’ll go through your usage with you to see if we can find any evidence to suggest your meter is faulty or if we can reassure you that it's working as it should.
I think it was Robin9 that mentioned the figures on the online account, it won't show you the un- billed energy. What you can do, is put your meter reads on and produce a real time balance. That'll show the account fully up to date.
I wouldn't arrange to have the meter changed just yet, take regular reads and do the checks, find out what is using this electricity and go from there. It's a good idea to do a full comparison of tariffs as has been mentioned.
As you say we have just put the clocks forward. The meter, though, will not change and will continue to work on GMT. As a result, the time will be an hour out for 6 months.
I really hope you can get to the bottom of this.
Thank you

What is the history of the building ? That is certainly not a usual domestic set up. Are the fuses / breakers marked ? Where do those 2 little fuse boxes link to - outbuildings maybe ? You need to do loads of investigating and take meter readings at least daily.

The agreed DD payment of £69 per month is looking increasingly dubious. Suppliers have access to historic usage data so one has to ask why the supplier agreed to such a low monthly payment?0

Hi
The readings are usually R1 and R2, DAY and NIGHT.
Photograph the readings.
Mine is an R4, for my NIGHTTIME reading, which did cause one supplier to reverse the day and night values causing huge bills every month.
Then photograph them the following day about the same time.
Post the piccies please.

@ ann_droid OP posted pictures at 01.16 this morning. Probably the best meter there is for readings.. OP also confirmed change went over at 01.00Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill1

Does the fact that the Normal reading is lower than the Night imply that Normal has been round the clock once and would read 1093523 if it had enough digits?Reed0
