Carphone warehouse cancells PAYG order

I have tried 3 times now to raise an order for a PAYG phone via quidco using a differant credit card and even in my OH's name and just get an email as follows:

Thank you for ordering with www.carphonewarehouse.com.
We have now processed it through our secure systems, but are unable to despatch the item to you for security reasons. This order has now been cancelled.

If you still wish to make a purchase please call 0870 087 0870.

I even resorted to trying to order over the phone but they said my card has been declined - I know that there are not any credit issues with my card.

I do have 3 cashback schemes runing with e2 save for contract phones for other memebres of the family - I don't know whether this has anything to do with it.

I'm suspecting they don't like me because I use Quidco......

By the way I am after a Sony E K550i in plum on any PAYG for my daughter.

Any help around this problem or details of other non CPW companies selling htis phone would be appreciated.

They cancelled an order my son made a few days ago quoting the security issue too. My son phoned cpw and they told him the card was blocked. He phoned his credit card company who assured him it wasn't blocked and also told him that cpw had tried to take the money twice. Cpw had no answer to that other than try another card.

I place an order through quidco last week which went through fine.

I think cpw just make it up as they go along as my son went into a store last night and they accepted the same card they turned down.
