Morning all
Struggling with motivation this morning! I don't seem to have done anything but brief kitchen and bathroom tidy, an online Icyland order and a tiny walk with the dog, and it is gone 11.I think I need to give myself a stern talking to as well CLF!So, I will:Do a load of washing and peg outsideSort out pots in front garden - the mini daffodils are over and looking messyGet more chicken out of the freezer to cook for the dog - hoping to wean him back onto dog food soon!Tidy dining room a bit - it is full of plants and ebay packaging, but the packaging can mostly be put away as I have a drawer for that. Plants will have to stay where they are until it warms up though.Check banks, and sort budget totals out for last month - haven't done that yet. Some business paperwork needs doing, end of FY.If I manage to do all that it will be a bonus today!3 -

Evening all
Sunny today, after a frosty start. Pleased to see that the greenhouse seedlings are ok, but slightly worried for the pear blossom, which has decided to appear early this year. It looks very pretty but I wish the pear tree would listen to the quince tree, which always waits till later and avoids its blossoms being frosted!Got some eggs, milk and bananas, plus a couple of other bits at the corner shop. £8.29 spent - I must remember to put this in my spending diary.Short dog walks x 2Made a sponge cake, which I filled with raspberry and loganberry jam and whipped cream, and a batch of parmesan and walnut scones, to use up some grated parmesan that has been lurking in the fridge, plus more of neighbour's walnuts from the freezer.DS and GD1 came round this afternoon, and we had tea and cake in the garden
GD1 gave me a lovely drawing that she had made - she is an art student, and is very good. Can't believe she is 18 now
And she has 2 older brothers. Makes me feel ancient!Watered indoor seedlingsAnd I still need to finish the budget stuff that I started yesterday.Dinner is Nigel S's sausages and lentils, which is seriously yummy. Saved 2 sausages out of the packet of 6 for another meal. Two each was plenty.Hope everyone is having a nice day
