    Hi All,

I have received this today, around 10 days after sending my defence.

Due to me mentioning dyslexia and colourblindness in my defence, they have now asked for evidence.

Is this worth responding to? As I know with some aspects, it should be ignored.

I can provide full evidence, and I am considering providing this in the hope that they withdraw their case?

    Thanks

If you have submitted your defence, presumably the claimant is now considering whether or not to proceed and is asking for evidence (ahead of you providing it as part of your witness statement) in order to make their decision.  If the case gores to a hearing (and I am assuming you haven't been allocated a court date yet) you will need to provide evidence to back up and support your defence.  If you are relying on dyslexia and colour blindness as part of your defence they will see it then.

If you provide evidence of your conditions now, the scammers may withdraw the claim, or they may not.

If you do not provide it now, I think they are more likely to go ahead with the claim.

By not providing evidence at this stage, the scammers may later say you were being unreasonable as they could have withdrawn the claim earlier thus saving both parties time and money.
Conversely, if you provide the evidence now but they still continue, you will be able to say they are being unreasonable by not taking your conditions and mitigating circumstances into consideration

    Hi Guys,
I have some confusion of the N180 form I have received.
It states that I need to complete the N180 form and return it to the County Court in Northampton - However, can I e-mail this to ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk instead?
It also states that I need to serve copies on all other parties. Would this be the Claimant (First Parking LLP) or DCB Legal? And can I file this via e-mail or would I need to post it to them?
    Thanks

Download it as a pdf , fill it in , email it to the ccbcaq email address that the defence went to

Email it to the legal firm as well ( dcb legal )

    No posting anything

Thanks - Is DCB Legal's normal e-mail address okay to send this to?
Shouldn't I also send it to the Claimant in some capacity?

Your guess is as good as ours. What does it say on the N1 claim form?  From what email address are DCB Legal contacting you?
Shouldn't I also send it to the Claimant in some capacity?
You send it to the named contact on the N1, you have it not us, but I'd guess it's DCB Legal, not the PPC.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    This really is simple.

Why have you abandoned that list you were following when you filed a Defence?
You need to refer again to that list, particularly those points following...
    6. After filing your Defence, there is more to do.

You have a County Court Claim Form.
You have that form, not us.

On that form there is a box headed:
Address for sending documents and payments (if different)

If there is anything in that box then obviously that is where you send the Claimant's copy.
