    As you correctly say, you weren't engaged in any commercial activity and furthermore; if it did apply, removal vans/lorries would also be banned.

    That will be perfect as evidence later on with your WS, but definitely quote that in your defence.  Good stuff! 

    The PPC has translated 'no commercial activity' as 'no commercial vans to be parked' whihc is daft, not the intention and would also prevent any gasman parking!
