SAR Identity request?

I received the usual DCBL letter telling me they were chasing me for a parking ticket issued in 2018. They managed to find me at a new address (god knows how).
Ive ignored the letter and the second one they sent me as per advice on the forum. I am no longer the registered keeper of the vehicle, the fine was issued in England and the keeper lives in Scotland.
I sent a SAR to the DPO at UK Parking Control to see what they had on me, and they replied with the following:
Dear (my name here)

What should my course of action be in response to this. I find it weird that DCBL have my new address but UKPC don't. Any advice would be fantastic
Thanks!

give proof of your new address , a copy of the V5C is ideal, but add one or two copies of recent redacted utility bills as well , but no photo ID , so no passport or driving licence at allalso email a Data Rectification Notice to the DPO at UKPC with the same attachments to anyone else involved, like solicitors , DCBL etc , to erase your old address and replace with your current address3

Send them a copy of the DCBL letter and a copy of your V5c. That should be enough.
Definitely do not send them any photo id.4 -

As for the second part regarding the Data Rectification Notice, Im not sure what this is. Nobody else is involved except DCBL (who i have had no contact with other than receiving letters), UKPC and myself (not solicitors basically involved)
Thanks again!0 -
You MUST rectify your address data by telling the PPC and DCBL to erase the old address immediately, and confirming to them which one is correct.
If you fail to do this then DCBL may choose to issue a court claim to the old address and y9ou will get a CCJ behind your back, learning about it too late to defend. DO NOT ASSUME THAT BECAUSE THEY FOUND A NEW ADDRESS THEY WILL USE IT.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Find the e-mail address (I've done it for you) for the DPO of the parking company; if it is UK Parking Control (UKPC) then use: -
DPO@ukparkingcontrol.com and put in the subject line Data Rectification Notice and the text will be: -
Please note that as and from DD/MM/YYYY my address for service will be: -
NN Street
Town
POST CODE
Please ERASE any old data that you hold on me and ensure that you advise any of the agents you use.3 -
you need to look online at GDPR data protection from about 3 years ago, its a data protection feature, nothing to do with parkingthe instructions above are correct for any firm that has incorrect data due to the victim moving, its a DPA 2018 issue1

Brilliant thank you! and is there a similar DPO thing for DCBL?

all firms have a DPO as a legal requirement since GDPR came in about 3 years ago
