Switching to Sky Broadband and keeping existing number

We're thinking of switching to Sky superfast broadband, but I've noticed the topcashback site says, "If you were to keep your old landline number, you will not be eligible for cashback".
Is there a problem with keeping your existing phone number with Sky? We've had the same number for 30+ years and do not want to lose it. I wondered if anyone on the forum had any experience with regards to this?
