    I know I said I was out, but .... :)

To my knowledge (which isn't vast) yours is the first Directions hearing we've encountered which has resulted in a judgment (assuming that's what it is - the letter will clarify).

    I will await the letter.

If I was to pay the CCJ as soon as it comes through the door, would I still be able to further spend money down the appeals process or does it not work like that? I kind of think I should pay for a transcript and approach an actual solicitor firm for their legal views. I would sleep better loosing more than paying this.

Is there a rough cost of 'words' for a '47 minute' hearing that was around an hour and 20 minutes late for the transcript? e.g. what would be the approx costs for this as its based on words and typically X words in a 47 minute session.

I think a short transcript like that would be about £100 (off the top of my head) but you can only appeal if the judge 'erred in law'.

    How did he err?

I am not agreeing with his decision but you do get a few pro-PPC bad Judges and a few people each year on this forum do lose their cases, if the Judge thinks the driver had a fair opportunity to get out and read the terms.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
