DCBL - NOTICE OF DEBT RECOVERY

Apologies for starting a new thread but I can't see the newbies "stickie"(?) anywhere
I have just received Notice of debt recovery from DCBL - the "incident" happened 3 years ago
I kept all previous correspondence  - the PCN was issued by AUTOSEC Feb 2018  - all my correspondence was by recorded
so briefly.......
March 2018 - I sent formal challenge to address on PCN - no reply - letter was signed for at address given on PCN - template was from this site
April 2018 - received from TNC services demanding payment - they advised they had obtained my details using a "reasonable cause request" - I responded to them with a letter of of complaint advising them the process should have been on hold as I had lodged formal challenge  - I also complained that they had no right to request info from the DVLA as I had challenged the ticket  - letter was signed for - awaited response
MAY 2018 - further letter from TNC escalating claim citing all "correspondence has been ignored" - untrue as they had signed for my response to their first letter
7th JUNE 2018 - received Notice of intention to advise client to issue summons
JUNE 2018 - I lodged a complaint with "The Complaints Manager" at TNC - obviously they must get a lot - he hadn't followed his own complaints procedure
JUNE 2018 - I requested info from the DVLA on the release of my data to a 3rd party - a member of their Central Casework Group advised the request was made by TNC on 24th April and that TNC had stated I had failed to appeal within a 14 day period yet the appeals process on the PCN quite clearly states i have 28 days - albeit I replied within the 14 days anyway
That was the last correspondence until this month
Any advice on where I stand please

Where you clicked on the New Thread button, there are five announcements enclosed in pink/puce/red boxes.  One of those is the NEWBIE sticky.

It  is a scam, they are bleeding cash and resurrecting old cases,  read all about it in the newbies and complain to your MP.

No one told you to click on it. Just find the New Thread button then scroll down the page by a couple of inches and you'll see the five stuck-to-the-top Announcements. The one you want is called:

**NEWBIES!! PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? OLD OR NEW? **READ THESE FAQS FIRST!** Thankyou!

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
