Samsung S20 - Heating and Freezing
Hi all,
So I upgraded my mobile to the above one in December 2020. I've been using it since February of this year and have noticed it freezes a lot. Like midway through a game or even when on the Internet. I then have to switch the mobile off and restart it. Being a new phone and only having used it for a bit, is this normal? I've never had an issue like this with previous handsets.
Also, it heats up a lot. And I mean very hot.
I've not got shed loads of photos or documents and I have the bare minimum when it comes to apps so I'm not sure what the issue is.
Has anyone else had these issues?
Would I be able to take it back when stores open again? I don't have any insurance on it but its only been a few months since I purchased it. Like I said I've never had a problem with a mobile before so unsure of what to do.
The handset is the S20 4g regular version.
Thanks,

Samsung have a two year warranty , so give them a call or go to their website. They’ll troubleshoot and arrange a repair if necessary.2

I wonder if you have some software running amok or malware?
a complete factory reset and install apps again one by one.1
