    Talk talk are increasing their prices this year but thankfully they are allowing people to terminate their minimum terms without penalty due to the change. 

    I'm not certain, but I think that they're required to allow termination without penalty in these circumstances. The e-mail that I got from PlusNet said the same thing: "... if you do decide to leave as a result of these changes then you can do so without paying any early termination fees".

    In contract price increases  yes you have 30 days to contact the ISP and request cancellation without charge .Must contact ISP and not just leave /swap under Ofcom rules .
    Built in price increases like  CPI + 3.9 %  NO as you have agreed to the increase on taking out the contract .
    As Ofcom March 2021 have allowed higher charges via OpenReach its likely that more will move to the built in increase .
