Given it has been pointed out I didn't answer your question, I have sent a text to my mechanic, he said they charged me pretty much £60 labour for my two services totalling £99 and £119.0

How long should a garage take to do an intermediate car service, how much labour hours should you expect to pay
Labour rates obviously vary around the country - "nice" urban SE is going to be a lot higher than the rural north.
Hour and a half? Eminently reasonable, depending on what car and on what they count as "intermediate". I'd assume engine oil/filter/pollen filter/air filter/poss spark plugs/brake friction check/poss brake fluid/fault codes/poss aux belts, and a damn good once-over.0
